Annual Report
Every year, The Friends produces
an annual report summarizing the previous year's activities and
finances, and recognizing contributors and donors. This year we
produced a shared annual report with the Saint Paul Public
Library. It highlights the many ways The Friends supported the
Library, as the Library continued its exemplary service to the
residents of Saint Paul. Whether through effective advocacy for strong public support of the Library, generous private fundraising, rich cultural and educational programming, or simply continuing to offer high quality services and materials that allow everyone in the City a chance to learn and grow, The Friends and the Library enjoy a healthy and successful symbiotic relationship.
What our shared annual report illustrates can be summed up in a single word: Diversity. Diversity of communities served; diversity of programs and services offered; diversity of approaches to addressing the needs of our community; diversity of people working together to make our City and our Library the best they can be. 2010 was a remarkable year for both the Saint Paul Public Library and The Friends. Working together, we are accomplishing what we could not do alone. If you're a supporter, you can take a great deal of pride in these many successes.
