There will be books and booze and food and tours and
scavenging and spelling. Oh, and librarians.

April 1, 2010  /  7–10 p.m.

(even librarians have their limits)

$30 per person / $25 with any library card

The main event: a Spelling Bee, hosted by the colorful and irreverent Irishman, John Cosgrove
(former host of the monthly Pub Quiz at Kieran's Irish Pub).
Yep, spelling bees. They’re all the rage. Put together a team of three. Register online. Prizes for winners.

The almost main event: a Photo Scavenger Hunt. Run the library to hunt down 10 secret architectural finds,
snap a photo on your cell phone, and it’s a race to the finish. Oh, and did we mention more prizes?

Food: by James Beard Award-winner Tim McKee of Barrio Tequila Bar
(including the rapidly-becoming-famous Barrio Taco Truck).

Photo exhibit: “America the Beautiful: The Monumental Landscape of Clyde Butcher”

Music: by DJ Jake Rudh, voted "best DJ" in the Twin Cities by the readers of City Pages
magazine, seven years running.
