Nominations are open now through December 13, 2013 at 5 p.m. Books can be nominated in one of eight categories by a book’s author, publisher or literary agent.

Each April, authors, publishers and book-lovers celebrate the best of local literature at the Minnesota Book Awards Gala. The Gala moves this year to Hilton Minneapolis for a more spectacular event in honor of the 25th anniversary. Each year, the Minnesota Book Awards produces reading guides, bookmarks and posters featuring the winners. All Minnesotans can request these materials free of charge. Reading guides and posters are also available for free download. Read Local!
